Confession. This is not what I wear today, not even yesterday. This is what I worn back in December, I think. It is photographed by Julian when she came by to my house. Why not do a little outfit shoot since we're both blogger in the same genre? Clearly, this outfit was taken before I cut my bangs, and mind you, I rarely do a shoot without bangs and I even didn't want to publish this at first. I have this little insecurity thing with all my bang-less pictures. Consider this a privilege, you know, to see my forehead.

I really have nothing much to talk about. Just as the title said, my life lately is what you can say as humdrum. Fall into a 24 hours working life routine, been drinking a hell lot of coffee and staying up in front of my laptop operating either Adobe Illustration, Indesign or 3DSMax. Life is indeed cruel during finals. But I won't babble too long now, most of you didn't read what I write anyway. I really can't think of a better idea for the title. Been so long, I almost lost my witty way of writing. So before I started, I wanted to wish you guys a Happy New Year! We've definitely passed the end of the world, cheers to the new world! Okay, cheesy. Anyway, the blouse I'm wearing is peach in color and I do have to admit it's a bit big for me. But I don't care! I love the blouse! I don't intend to show my face either as I look like crap in these photos, especially with my overgrown bangs (which I have already cut, so I'm back to Zooey Deschanel's bangs nowadays) and my eyebags. Ugh.

So uhm, what else? Yeah, right. I joined Instagram. I know I'm late with all the instagram thing, but who cares.... if you're interested in stalking my life through pictures, you could definitely follow me @crssvc or if you like words better, still my twitter @cvqiie will always be opened for y'all to follow. After working as a Social Media Officer at the Jakarta Fashion Week last year, I never really thought I'll be back to the fashion tent again this year. Not as an intern but as a spectator. So yes, this year I was invited to the Rusly Tjohnardi Atelier 'Les Rêves Mirifiques'. Before I started, I have to say that I am a bit disappointed that I didn't get the chance to photographed the moment as much as I wanted to since the crew stopped me like after snapping only 3 to 4 pictures. Bummer~! That's why I borrowed some of Julian's pics of the show. Oh yes, I went with her to the show because two is always better than one ;)

So... regardless of the lack of pictures, the show is quite something. Lots of layers, draping and stunning details. The accessories worn by the models are quite striking as well, feathers and even pacifier-like jewelry, that again I didn't have a clear picture of. The collection adopted a soft and delicate color palette with a touch of gold ornaments here and there. It is indeed dramatically beautiful. The defile of the show was as amazing as the collection itself, I have to tell you. The models, who are already gifted with such a statuesque features, clothed in his dreamy dresses, looked a lot like exquisite dolls in display. I don't have a picture of it, but I do found an instagram picture that can do the justice of my words here
