Event // Les Rêves Mirifiques

After working as a Social Media Officer at the Jakarta Fashion Week last year, I never really thought I'll be back to the fashion tent again this year. Not as an intern but as a spectator. So yes, this year I was invited to the Rusly Tjohnardi Atelier 'Les Rêves Mirifiques'. Before I started, I have to say that I am a bit disappointed that I didn't get the chance to photographed the moment as much as I wanted to since the crew stopped me like after snapping only 3 to 4 pictures. Bummer~! That's why I borrowed some of Julian's pics of the show. Oh yes, I went with her to the show because two is always better than one ;)

So... regardless of the lack of pictures, the show is quite something. Lots of layers, draping and stunning details. The accessories worn by the models are quite striking as well, feathers and even pacifier-like jewelry, that again I didn't have a clear picture of. The collection adopted a soft and delicate color palette with a touch of gold ornaments here and there. It is indeed dramatically beautiful. The defile of the show was as amazing as the collection itself, I have to tell you. The models, who are already gifted with such a statuesque features, clothed in his dreamy dresses, looked a lot like exquisite dolls in display.
